“The school has more than 1,200 students and most of the teachers were reluctant to take their classes since there was no principal to keep a check on them,” Niazi said.
The previous principal was transferred to another school in the district in January 2015 and since then, the school was being run by a senior teacher who had limited authority. “Teachers do not cooperate with the senior teacher,” Farman said.
He urged the ministry of education to fill the vacant post and avoid mismanagement in the school.
