If it's a Karan Johar movie, it will always be in the news. However, of late, more than the film itself, the cast of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is making waves and reports are abuzz that Shah Rukh Khan is the latest addition to the an already star-studded line up of actors.

Karan Johar has announced 'Student of the Year 2' and guess who's the lead actor

Hindustan Times reports that SRK has often been spotted at the sets of ADHM and it's not because of the strong friendship that Karan and Shah Rukh share but because he's replacing Saif -- who was meant to make a cameo appearance in the movie.

This is Shah Rukh Khan's 'most loved' movie featuring himself

"While Saif shot for the cameo in London last year, some touch up shots of his were remaining. That shoot was supposed to happen near to the post-production work. But, Saif hurt his hand during the shoot of Kala Kandi, due to which the doctors have advised him rest. Hence, he cannot complete the shoot and Karan was left with no option but to replace him," reports PinkVilla.

Starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Fawad Khan and Lisa Haydon, along with Anushka Sharma and Imran Abbas, the film is slated to release in July, 2017.

We're hoping news of SRK replacing Saif is true. After all, who wouldn't want to see Fawad and King Khan in one frame?!
