Reaping benefits: ‘Hydel project to generate revenue’  

The power project will generate 41megawatts of electricity

MINGORA/ TIMERGARA: Koto Hydel Power Project in Timergara, Lower Dir will help generate revenue and jobs in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. These views were expressed by MPA Aizazul Mulk and MNA Sahibzada Muhammad Yaqub during their visit to the site of the project on Sunday. Both leaders said the provincial government has provided funds for the initiative.  Naimatullah Khan, the project director, said it will be completed at a cost of Rs14 billion. “The power project will generate 41megawatts of electricity,” he added. The parliamentarians voiced their satisfaction over the project. They added the initiative will provide uninterrupted power supply to the district and others adjacent areas. According to both leaders, serving the public in Dir is the top priority of the district administration.
