ISLAMABAD: Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage Minister and Senator Pervaiz Rashid on Saturday said there was no mention of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif in the Panama Papers. The minister made these remarks at a news conference held at the Lok Virsa on Saturday.

Rashid said the elements predicting ‘something unusual’ in September would be hugely disappointed as the government would complete its constitutional term. He said the people of Islamabad had already heard Tahirul Qadri’s predictions twice and have seen the results.

Rashid recalled that Qadri had foreseen during the previous government’s tenure the end of the government by 2:30 am. However, the previous government managed to complete its tenure. The minister dismissed the claims of Brahamdagh Bugti saying that the youth in Balochistan had responded to his statement by raising ‘long live Pakistan’ slogans and by celebrating Independence Day with full fervor. He remarked that Bugti would surely have heard those voices.

Rashid added that the cinema culture is seeing a revival in Pakistan and people are being provided with entertainment opportunities.

Education and health are provincial subjects, according to him, and the federal government is fulfilling its responsibilities by supporting the provinces.

Akram | 7 years ago | Reply Mr. Patwari.. Properties mentioned in panama papers were bought when PM children were used to wear langoti. Don't make fool to people of Pakistan. We know that your PM, zardari and other politicians are big hurdle in Pakistan growth. Its time to elimate you people once for all.
