BANNU:
The interior ministry and national police bureau have decided to award police officers and constables of K-P for their performance in establishing the writ of the state and eliminating militancy from the province. This was stated in a press release issued on Saturday. “Earlier, at least, 18 officers and constables were awarded Quaid-e-Azam and presidential medals,” the statement read. “Those who received medals included former Swabi DPO Sajjad Khan, SDPO Izhar Shah, SDPO Muhammad Fayyaz Khan, Kalu Khan SHO Haroon Khan, constable Shahid Hussain, constable Muhammad Tarqi, Shaheed Shahzad, constable Sajjid Khan and Sub-Inspector Haidar Ali Shah.”
