The police arrested a suspected militant and seized two hand grenades and a pistol from his possession in Takht Bhai, Mardan on Saturday. SHO Guhar Taj, while addressing a news conference, said the suspect attacked a police van with hand grenade in Saro Shah. “Saleh Hayat chased the van near Jazono ground when the police stopped in the area for a search operation.” “The police arrested him with a hand grenade in his hand and he has been shifted to an undisclosed location for interrogation,” he added.
