Three dead, four injured in DI Khan road accidents

TANK/ DI KHAN: At least three people died while four others were injured in various road accidents in DI Khan on Saturday. On the other hand, a girl who had been kidnapped was rescued in Tank.

Deadly collisions

In the first incident, two vehicles collided near Kati check post. As a result, a woman and her daughter died while three others were critically wounded.

A police official told The Express Tribune the injured were shifted to District Headquarters and Teaching Hospital DI Khan and have been administered.

Separately, two speeding motorbikes collided. As a result, one person was killed while another was injured. The injured was shifted to a hospital in Paharpur.

Rescued

In another incident, the police rescued a girl who was abducted from Tank. A police official told The Express Tribune the girl has been identified as Maryam Bibi.

“She was kidnapped from Gilani Town a while ago,” he said. “The police received an intelligence tip-off and carried out a raid on a hideout.” According to the police, the girl was found at the hideout. “The three kidnappers were also arrested during the crackdown,” he said.
