According to the military's media wing, ISPR, General Raheel visited on Friday front-line troops taking part in operation along the Pak-Afghan border in Khyber Agency.

Earlier this week, the military launched Operation Khyber-III to reinforce deployment of troops along the Pak-Afghan border to effectively check movement of terrorists.
At least 11 terrorists were killed and four others wounded when fighter jets pounded their hideouts in Rajgal Valley on Thursday, where military launched an air and ground offensive.

The army chief appreciated the soldiers' morale and professionalism shown in fighting terrorists of various organisations in the most rugged terrains.
Speaking to the troops, General Raheel said the nation and valiant army had paid a huge price to fight terrorism.
He termed clearance of mountain passes in Rajgal a manifestation of Pakistan's commitment to check cross border movement, adding it will go a long way in helping the initiative of border management.

The COAS directed enhanced vigilance and pro-active approach to stop any type of movement of terrorists.
Earlier, the army chief was given a detailed briefing by operational commander on progress of operations and gains consolidated so far.
Upon arrival on the front lines, General Raheel was received by Corps Commander Peshawar Lt Gen Hidayatur Rehman.
