PM’s special grant: Cheques distributed among 85 families

Under the prime minister’s special grant for those stranded in Saudi Arabia, the government has started distributing cheques among the families of the affected persons.
In this regard, a programme was held in the Baitul Maal office in Swabi on Monday.
PML-N MPA Haji Muhammad Sheraz Khan was the chief guest on the occasion. Besides, Baitul Maal District Officer Mujeebur Rehman, PML-N district general secretary Haji Dildar Khan, Haji Nawabzada Khan, Yasir Zaman and Jahanzeb Khan were also in attendance.
On the occasion, cheques amounting to Rs4.2 million were distributed among 85 affected families of the district. Each affected family received Rs50,000.
While addressing the participants, the PML-N MPA said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif took notice of the matter and announced support for the families.
