PESHAWAR: The best teacher certificates were awarded to 94 faculty members of Khyber Medical University (KMU) on Monday. The teachers were awarded for scoring high percentages in an evaluation.

While speaking at an event held at the new campus of the university, KMU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Muhammad Hafizullah said securing a score of 85% according to the criteria set by Higher Education Commission, Islamabad for teachers’ evaluation was a remarkable achievement. “All those teachers who earned more than 85% are our pride and honour.”

He added teaching is not only a profession but it is also a technical job. Therefore, he said, equipping the faculty with modern teaching techniques is the need of the hour.

Besides others, Registrar Dr Fazal Mahmood, Academics & Admissions Director Professor Dr Muhammad Ilyas Saeedi, Controller of Examinations Dr Muhammad Bakhtiar, Dr Ziaul Haq, Quality Enhancement Cell Deputy Director Asiya Bukhari and students of various institutes were also present during the certificate awarding ceremony.
