KARACHI: On Sunday Karachi Water and Sewerage Board’s (KWSB) main pipeline at Dhabeji pumping station developed cracks, allegedly due to a power outage. According to a press release, the pipeline’s six-foot portion developed cracks, after which a huge area was flooded with water on the National Highway. Karachi is now facing a shortfall of 44.5 million gallons of water. It will take at least three days to resume the city’s water supply.
