Rishi Kapoor recently landed himself in hot water due to his disrespectful tweet regarding late Pakistani cricketer, Hanif Mohammad, who passed away on Thursday after his battle with cancer.

After receiving significant backlash, Rishi took to Twitter to apologise for his inappropriate 'tribute.'



The Kapoor and Sons star clarified that he didn't intend to disrespect the legendary sportsman.

There seems to be some anger in my tribute to Hanif Sahab.Sincerely never meant disrespect.But I saw that.He's a legend.Sorry if I hurt some
