Michael Phelps, the most-decorated Olympian of all times with 22 gold medal in swimming, had to stand one step down on the podium after he entered the pool with 21-year-old Schooling in the 100m butterfly final event during the 2016 Rio Olympics.

"I'm just ecstatic. I need it to sink in," Schooling was quoted as saying by the Independent. "It feels great - kind of feels surreal right now, it's crazy," he added.
"I really can't describe how this moment feels. All the adrenaline is running through my veins right now. It's a dream come true,” schooling said after he clocked a world record 50.39 seconds in the race.

Soon after, his picture with Phelps eight years ago surfaced on the social media where he was a 13-year-old kid.
The social media was abuzz with the story of the teenager growing up to beat the greatest athlete in Olympics history.
