Hanif Muhammad, one of the most revered Pakistani cricketers of all time, passed away on Thursday after battling with cancer. His death is being mourned globally and Rishi Kapoor took to Twitter to do the same -- in the worst way possible.

Hanif Muhammad passes away at 81

Rishi tweeted saying he had seen Little Master get out to Ramakant Bhikaji, who was a fast Indian bowler.

The Bobby actor is famous for his controversial tweets and inappropriate humor but this time he went too far by not respecting someone who just passed away.

Every time you came to bat, we were proud of you. We could hear about your plays on radio commentaries and felt happy. Tere was no TV in those days. God bless your soul. Every great batsman gets out cheaply once in a while or even more than oncein their career. There is nothing insulting if someone points out that one goes to see a great batsman play and only seeing him get out cheaply. Furthermore in his tweet Rishi Kapoor addresses Hanif as Hanifji which a respectful address. Therefore I do not consider Kapoor's tweet an insult just imagine his disappointment.

Hanif Muhammad's career was destroyed by a newbie pacer Ramakant Desai, who got him out consistently for pitiable scores.. In fact Hanif was scared when Ramakant opened the bowling, that later he changed the strike (went to non-striker's end)... 2. The match with Windies was deliberately sabotaged - Sobers was given out after a dubious decision, just because he was on the verge of matching or breaking Hanif's record (500). An angry Sobers quit the game altogether and returned back to Caribbean.
