While Bachchan feels for the country personally because of his visit and warm welcome in Egypt, other international celebrities including Katy Perry also reminded fans to pray for the country’s welfare and invited them to participate and support in efforts. “Praying for safety and peace in Australia and Egypt , join me,” posted Perry on her page.
However, international celebrities are not the only ones who are concerned and disturbed by the distressing happenings around the world. Local singer and actor, Ali Zafar posted a tweet saying, “May the force be with the people of Egypt — rather may the people of Egypt be the force.”
On a lighter note, veteran actor, Amitabh Bachchan also takes time out to tweet to his fans about his son’s birthday, “New Zealand is seven and half hours ahead and its way past midnight into February 5 — Abhishek’s birthday, wished him and will wish again when he gets up.” While the actor indulges in family time, an excited Tyra Banks announced the next cycle of her show, “America’s Next Top Model”. The model tweets to her fans saying, “Calling all my high fashion ladies. Is it your turn to be on top? I’m starting my search, Go to tyra.com to get all the info and bring it.”
Here is our collection of the best ten tweets celebrities posted this week.
