On a roll: Priyanka Chopra’s ‘Project Runway’

Bollywood star to feature on hit fashion reality show

MUMBAI: Calling all Priyanka Chopra fans! It has been announced that the Bollywood, and now Hollywood, beauty will soon be gracing the 15th season of American television series Project Runway. She will reportedly join in as one of the few guest judges on the show, which focuses on budding designers who are given an opportunity to create a collection of clothes for New York Fashion Week.

The ‘Desi girl’ took to Instagram, where she uploaded a photograph of herself along with Project Runway host and supermodel Heidi Klum. Also in the picture were fellow judges Nina Garcia, Zac Posen and Georgina Chapman. “Namaste! On Project Runway; coming soon! Season 15, September 15,” Priyanka captioned the image.

This latest stint will mark the second time the 34-year-old is seen on an international television show. Priyanka has, thus far, been gaining recognition through her role as Alex Parish in the US television series Quantico. The star is also gearing up for her big Hollywood film debut in Baywatch, wherein she will be seen portraying a negative character by the name of Victoria Leeds. The film is slated to release on May 17, 2017, and also stars actors Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Zac Efron in lead roles.
