Russia banned from Parlympics over doping

Suspension from the body means the country could not compete in the Rio Games from September 7 to September 18

RIO DE JANEIRO: Russia was banned from the Rio Paralympic Games on Sunday over the state-run doping revealed in an inquiry last month.

International Parlympics Committee president Philip Craven said the Russia's suspension from the body meant the country could not compete in the Rio Games from September 7 to September 18.
