PARACHINAR:
A declamation contest was organised in Kurram Agency on Saturday. Students from all government and private schools in the agency participated in the event. The topic of discussion was education in Kurram. The contest was won by Nazish a student of class eight. Haika Khalid, a student of class two, secured the second position. Ziaullah, a student of class nine, clinched the third position. Political officer Shahid Ali Khan, the chief guest, distributed cash prizes and shields among the winners along with political officer Nasrullah Khan. Speaking on the occasion, Shahid Ali said such competitions should be organised more often to promote young talent.
