HYDERABAD: The Jeay Sindh Mahaz (JSM) has given a call for a province-wide protest on August 7 against the alleged arrest and enforced disappearance of five party workers from Kambar-Shahdadkot district. At a press conference on Friday, JSM chairperson Riaz Ali Chandio said that instead of going after terrorists and real criminals, law enforcers are persecuting peaceful workers. “We believe in the politics of non-violence. We reject all forms of terrorism whether in the name of religion, ethnicity or any other cause,” asserted Chandio. He identified Hubdar Meerjat as a detained worker, alongside Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz workers Zulfiqar Magsi, Ali Hassan Magsi, Asif Magsi and Iqrar Peerzado.
