D I KHAN: The Political Administration of South Waziristan Agency
directed unregistered Afghan refugees to return to their home country within a week.

Jirga members of the Ahmadzai tribe were briefed on the situation by officials of the political administration of South Wazirsitan Agency. The officials urged jirga
members to ask the local tribespeople to urge Afghan refugees to return to their native country.

“If the unregistered Afghan refugees fail to leave within the deadline, action will be taken against them as per the law,” an official of the political administration told The Express Tribune. “The political administration has urged elders of the tribe to cooperate and they have assured the same.”

The gate at Angor Adda is closed for all kinds of movements. Therefore, it is unclear how the refugees will be transported back to Afghanistan.
