Jese to PSG, Chelsea wants Lukaku? Read all the gossip here
Leicester City star midfielder Riyad Mahrez has reportedly agreed to join Premier Legaue rivals Arsenal, the Daily Mirror reported.
Reports from his native country Algeria suggest that Mahrez, who won the PFA Player of the Year award for his sublime performances for the Foxes last season, has reached an agreement with Gunners after having a face-to-face discussion with manager Arsene Wenger over his move to the Emirates.
However, the Algerian international still has three years left on his contract, which means Leicester are in a strong position for any deals with the London based club.
Chelsea to offer Remy in Lukaku deal
Premier League giants Chelsea are looking to offer French international Loic Remy plus £65 million for Everton striker Romelu Lukaku, the Daily Mail reported.
According to reports, the London based club are continuing their efforts to sign Lukaku, who left the club in 2013 for £28 million.
The 2014/15 champions are willing to offer £65m plus Loic Remy to sign the Belgian striker, but Everton are holding out for a fee of £75 million for the highly rated forward.
PSG agree Real’s Jese fee
French champions Paris Saint Germain (PSG) have reportedly agreed a fee of €25 million for Real Madrid striker Jese Rodriguez, Madrid based newspaper Marca reported.
The 23-year-old fell down the pecking order at Santiago Bernabeu last season, and with the arrival of striker Alvaro Morata from Juventus, it was evident that his time at the Spanish capital is all but over and he will need to move somewhere else to find first team football.
Madrid’s coach Zidane also revealed his admiration for the youngster, but it is unclear if the deal will include a buy-back option, which helped the Spanish giants in re-signing Morata earlier this season.
Guardiola still hoping to sign Everton’s Stones
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is hoping to find middle ground with the Everton football club over the proposed signing of the highly rated defender John Stones, the Daily Mirror reported.
The Liverpool based club are holding onto their demand of £50 million for the 22-year-old, and have reportedly also rejected the idea of including City striker Wilfred Bony in the deal.
Last year, Everton rejected Chelsea’s bid of £38 million for the highly rated England international, and with even stronger financial position, they are digging their heels for one of the most exciting prospect in Europe once again.
