KARACHI: A district and sessions court on Tuesday once again directed the Defence Housing Authority (DHA) administrator to confiscate all the properties belonging to the former military ruler General (retd) Pervez Musharraf in view of his extended absence in a high treason case.

The south court’s nazir wrote a letter to DHA administrator asking him to attach the four properties owned by Musharraf within his jurisdiction. Earlier, in its compliance report, the DHA had said it found Musharraf’s three properties and referred to them as being held in light of the court orders.

The authority was silent about the two properties. However, the court wrote again to the DHA and the Military Estate Office, seeking details of the two properties. A reply was sought in three days.
