Kesha drops sexual assault law suit against producer Dr Luke
The singer has been unable to produce music due to the law suit
Kesha has dropped charges against her music producer Dr Luke, in order to get her career back on track.
She filed a case against Luke for abusing her emotionally and sexually last year in June. "Kesha has dismissed her California action without prejudice while she pursues her appeal and other legal claims in the New York courts" reports her counsel to Rolling Stone.

The 29-year-old singer had been bound by the record label and was unable to produce music while the case was in court.
"Kesha is focused on getting back to work and has delivered 28 new songs to the record label. We have conveyed to Sony and the label Kesha's strong desire to release her next album and single as soon as possible," he further added.

Dr Luke's attorney told Rolling Stone, "If Kesha is voluntarily dismissing her claims in the California case, it is because she has no chance of winning them."

Kesha has been recording new tracks on her own expense and has provided them to Dr Luke's label hoping that they will release an album as soon as possible.
Her career has been on hold since 2014 when she first spoke out against the abuse by her producer.
