Mahira Khan may be a flawless beauty with exceptional talent, but her latest posts on social media prove that at the end of the day, she's just as human as the rest of us.

While the Ho Mann Jahan star delivered a killer performance to Shakar Wandaan Re at this year's Lux Style Awards, she has taken to Instagram to reveal how nervous she was about delivering her first ever live performance.

Mahira posted a photo with her choreographer Nigah Hussain, and admitted that she was the most scared she's ever been while performing, (with the exception of acting alongside Shah Rukh Khan in Raees of course).

The star also revealed all the obstacles that she had to overcome to deliver the sensational performance, including an injured ankle, no rehearsals in the last few days, and her demanding travel schedule. Not to mention, she performed at four o'clock in the morning, as LSA's closing performance for the night.

Although Mahira thanked her father in a heart-warming speech when accepting her award for Best Actress, she didn't forget her fans. The Bin Roye actor took to Instagram to share yet another heartfelt speech, writing, "I'm not sure where to start with thanking the people I am grateful for... But since YOU guys are the best, thank you to my aaahmazing fans."

M. Faizan Farooq Khan | 8 years ago | Reply I hope she branches out and does more roles. She can be a role model for young, aspiring Pashtun Actresses and try to change the image of the Pashtun woman of Pakistan. Currently she has done girl next door roles but I hope that she branches out like Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra to do meaty roles. On a side note I fail to remember her name but the actress from Teri Meri Kahani is a breath of fresh hair and I hope she gets more work so that she breaks the white skin complex in Pakistan.
