Fake degrees & IQ tests

Syed A Mateen May 07, 2010

KARACHI: With regard to your report ‘CEC vows action against fake degree-holders’ (May 6), I think the issue is not going to be a problem anymore because the graduation requirement has been dropped recently. For sure, in the next election a degree will not be needed at all. The consequence of this is, in my view, nothing because it changes nothing.

It really makes no difference whether a candidate is a graduate or not because they both speak the same language. Furthermore, what have those who had degrees and qualifications done for the poor people of this country? All candidates in elections should only be approved after appearing and passing an IQ test which tests them for basic analytical and intelligence skills.
