Enthronement celebrations: Brotherhood defines Pakistan-Morocco ties, says Pervaiz Rashid

Information minister was invited as chief guest for the ceremony

ISLAMABAD: Relations of Pakistan and Morocco are marked by mutual feelings of brotherhood and friendship, Minister for Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage Senator Pervaiz Rashid said. The minister made these remarks at the 17th anniversary of the enthronement of King Mohammad VI of Morocco which was celebrated at a private hotel on Saturday.

Rashid was invited as the chief guest at the event. Apart from him, Punjab Governor Rafique Rajwana and diplomats, dignitaries and prominent citizens from different walks of life were present at the graceful event.

Ambassador of Morocco Mustapha Salahudinne was host of the celebrations and greeted the guests as they arrived. The ceremony started with the playing of national anthems of Pakistan and Morocco.

Later a cake was cut by the host and chief guest Pervaiz Rashid along with other guests who joined in to celebrate the occasion.

In his remarks, the Information Minister also conveyed his heartiest felicitations to the government and people of Morocco on the enthronement anniversary.
