'Leaked' image shows new iPhone 7
Though we normally don’t get any official statement from the company before the launch, the device has its fair share of rumours and leaks. The latest comes from Evan Blass, considered an authority when it comes to leaks related to smartphones and other gadgets. According to the 'reputable' leaker, Apple is set to take pre-orders for the latest device starting from September 9.

Pre-orders for Apple devices normally start a week before the device is launched which would mean the official event for the launch will be held on September 16. This also falls in line with an earlier rumour that suggested the release date to be in the second week of September.
iPhone7 may support dual SIMs, keep headphone jack
Blass has not yet disclosed his source for the leak and even though his reputation in the area is commendable, we have no official source to confirm the claim. Therefore, we can only wait till Apple gives us an official date.
