Spanish club Real Madrid have turned their attention to Paris Saint Germain (PSG) midfield ace Marco Verratti after conceding defeat in pursuit of Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba, the Sun reported.
According to reports from Spain, Los Blancos manager Zinedine Zidane has identified a number of midfielders as an alternative to Pogba, who is on the verge of joining the Premier League club Manchester United in a world record deal.

Arsenal in talks to sign Valencia's Mustafi
Premier League club Arsenal are in talks to sign Valencia defender Shkodran Mustafi, according to Sky Germany.
The move comes after manager Arsene Wenger earlier confirmed that veteran defender Per Mertesacker will be out of action for a substantial time after injuring his knee in a pre-season friendly last week.
Mustafi, who joined Valencia in 2014 and has so far represented the club in more than 60 league matches over the course of two seasons, has a release clause of £42.1 million, but it is believed that the London based club may be able to sign the 24-year-old for £25.3 million plus a further £8.4 million in add-ons.

French champions Paris Saint Germain (PSG) is interested in signing Real Madrid striker Jese, Goal.com reported.
Reports from France suggests that the Paris based club have discussed a potential move for the 22-year-old, who is fallen down the pecking order after the arrival of striker Alvaro Morata.
It is believed that the Spanish giants are willing to let the highly rated striker leave on loan, or with a buy-back clause in order to gain more first-team experience.
Arsenal ready to make improved bid for Lyon’s Lacazette
Premier League giants Arsenal are ready to make an improved bid for Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette, the Telegraph reported.
The French club rejected Aresnal’s earlier bid of £29 million by saying that the highly rated striker is not for sale.
However, with striker Olivier Giroud set to miss the start of the season and Danny Welbeck out until at least next year, manager Arsene Wenger is getting desperate to sign the 25-year-old, and is preparing a bid of £35 million for the French international, who scored 21 league goals for his club last season.
