Networking system: SKMCH Lahore team visits KTH

PESHAWAR: A seven-member team of health management information system (HMIS) consultants from Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital (SKMCH) and Research Centre Lahore visited Khyber Teaching Hospital (KTH) Peshawar to examine international networking system of the hospital. According to a press release issued by KTH Peshawar on Thursday, on the recommendation of Board of Governor Chairperson Dr Faisal Sultan, a seven-member team headed by Manzar Abbas visited the facility and examined the computerisation system of the hospital. During the two-day visit, the team connected KTH computer systems with Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital (SKMCH) software for data entry in their human resources system. Members said KTH information system will be one of the best in the country since four teaching hospitals will be interconnected via it for patient information data record.
