Hafeez the highest earning Pakistani cricketer

PCB paid some 46 cricketers around Rs550 million for the fiscal year 2015-16

Pakistan opening batsman Mohammad Hafeez is the highest earner among his colleagues for the year 2015-16, after he took home approximately Rs39 million from Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Press Trust of India reported on Thursday.

According to documents sent by the PCB to the Ministry of Inter-Provincial Co-ordination for the fiscal year 2015-16, it paid some 46 cricketers around Rs550 million as their fees and bonuses for all formats of the game.

Players representing the national side in all three formats are among the highest earners. Wicketkeeper-batsman Sarfraz Ahmed earned around Rs33 million rupees, whereas former T20I captain Shahid Afridi earned Rs18 million.

The documents also confirmed that the board is heavily subsidising domestic cricket.

12. Rahat Ali (Rs17 million)

13. Mohammad Irfan (Rs15 million)

14. Muhammad Rizwan (Rs14 million)

15. Junaid Khan (Rs13 million)

16. Anwar Ali (Rs12 million)

17. Zulfiqar Babar (Rs11 million)

We deserve more money, PCB tells ICC

The board has been known for increasing fees and monthly central contract retainers since the last two years.

So a medicore will like medicore. This is as simple as that. Hafeez amazing talent never found elsewhere. How such a player can play for so long without any performance. Hafeez can write a book how he did/manage all this. He is fit or unfit, he always part of team. Just amazing!

Companies specifically sign some players for their advertisements. The pay is same for every category but advertising revenue is dependent on the promotions and signings from the advertiser side. That is why in the end the money paid is difference. ..
