Your stars today

Aries | March 20 – April 19

Often the obstacles to you proceeding with your plans that others point out are nothing more than their fears. But now genuine practical issues need attention, and soon. Don’t just talk these over, ask others for their views, ideas and any worthwhile contacts. Their input will prove helpful, if not crucial.

Taurus | April 20 – May 20

Although you agree that certain longstanding joint arrangements would benefit from a far-reaching rethink, you’re in no rush. However, that could change. The encounter between your ruler Venus and inventive Uranus, in a few days’ time, is likely to revolutionise your attitude. So much you’ll be eager to get things moving.

Gemini | May 21 – June 20

Those who say they’re eager to take plans to the next stage, then avoid committing, are exasperating. The fact is, others are confused and probably will be until Tuesday, when the courageous Mars moves into the portion of your chart that accents such matters. After that, things will come together wonderfully.

Cancer | June 21 – July 22

Often contentious issues, such as those you’re currently facing, are best dealt with by doing a lot of listening. So frequently situations of this nature turn into battles involving who can speak fastest, or be most persuasive. Instead, truly listen to what’s being said. Then retreat and reflect before you respond.

Leo | July 23 – August 22

One of your greatest strengths, as a Leo, is that when you commit to a plan or, indeed, a person, it’s wholehearted. So much so, that backing out seems impossible. But judging by the current range of swift and often surprising changes reshaping your life, it’s likely you’ll have to do exactly that.

Virgo | August 23 – September 22

Sometimes minor disputes are no more than that. Judging by the current clash between your ruler Mercury and the volatile Mars, however, seemingly unimportant differences could be amazingly informative. But you must resist the temptation to have the last word and instead seek the source of the issue in question.

Libra | September 23 – October 22

Ignoring the complaints of others may seem antisocial, if not just plain rude. But the fact is, the individuals in question, and it’s likely there’s more than one, are in the mood to complain. That being the case, they wouldn’t actually welcome suggestions of possible solutions. Sympathise and listen, no more.

Scorpio | October 23 – November 21

The time has come to cut your ties with certain once-rewarding arrangements. You’ve kept things going, partly out of loyalty but, as much, out of habit. Deep down, however, you realise this is putting off the inevitable. And even more important, you’re beginning to long for the freedom this will give you.

Sagittarius | November 22 – December 21

By now you’ve probably realised that, despite your excitement about plans you’re organising, certain individuals will require both details and hard facts. While ordinarily you’d gather these when the need arose, others want them immediately. Don’t argue. It’s easier and faster to get the information they want now, and all at once.

Capricorn | December 22 – January 19

The problem isn’t admitting you were wrong. You’ve done that before and survived. The issue is one particular individual won’t just call attention to your error, they’ll ensure everybody hears about it. Take the wind out of their sails. Make a point of letting everybody know what you’ve done, and immediately.

Aquarius | January 20 – February 17

You have a stubborn streak. It’s powerful, but one you usually manage to conceal with charm or by distracting others from the issue in question. Now, however, circumstances or, perhaps, certain individuals are confronting you about this. Give in. As much as you hate the idea, you’ll be glad you did.

Pisces | February 18 – March 19

Being generous by nature, you love making others happy. Sometimes it’s by doing a favour or finding a special gift. But as often it involves something behind the scenes. Bizarrely, these are best because while you’re able to be kind, you needn’t face the awkwardness of others thanking you.
