Crackdown: 48 suspects arrested in Hangu

HANGU: At least 48 suspects, including three Afghan nationals and six proclaimed offenders, were arrested during a search and strike operation in Hangu on Tuesday. SHOs of different police stations took part in the search operation. While speaking to journalists, Hangu DPO Shah Nazar told The Express Tribune the police arrested six proclaimed offenders and three unregistered Afghan nationals during different raids in the district. In addition, 39 suspects were also taken into custody. He added eight Kalashnikovs, 17 pistols, four rifles, one repeater, 700 grammes of hashish and pistol rounds were also seized from their possession.
