DI KHAN/ NOWSHERA: A man died while three others were injured in separate road accidents in Frontier Region DI Khan on Tuesday.

In the first incident, a passenger coach rammed into a motorbike near Darinzada Bazaar, leaving Mastullah Shirani and Mir Shirani injured.

They were rushed to District Headquarters and Teaching Hospital DI Khan. Mastullah succumbed to his injuries on the way.

The coach driver attempted to escape, but levies forces reached the site on time and arrested him.

Separately, a pick-up truck collided with a bike. As a result, both passengers on the bike were injured. They were rushed to the hospital by locals.

Bodies found

In another incident, a body was found in Indus River near Mahra village on the same day. The deceased, identified as Umair Laghari, had gone with his friends for a picnic four days ago. They were swimming in the river when a strong current swept Umair away and he drowned.

His funeral prayers were held at Tank Adda. Umair was the son of Rayastullah Laghari, a trader of DI Khan.

Moreover, another body was found from a canal in Tangi River in Nowshera on Tuesday morning.

According to the police, 25-year-old Ezat Khan had been shot dead by unidentified men. His body was shifted to the hospital for an autopsy and was later handed over to his family. A case was been registered and investigation is under way.
