ISLAMABAD: The PTI also staged a protest outside the office of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) as it filed a complaint with the bureau against the alleged corruption of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family.

“Kindly perform your duties to Allah and fellow Pakistanis, so that you are neither condemned by history nor by the judgment of the present,” reads the complaint filed by PTI’s Additional Secretary General Saifullah Niazi.

The complaint refers to the Panamagate scandal, ‘the admitted transgressions’ by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar in the shape of ‘money laundering’ and ‘the futile’ attempts to hide it as well as the alleged purchases of properties in London by the Sharif family and later getting loans against these properties.

The protest turned ugly for a brief period as PTI supporters scuffled with media persons. Imran later apologised to the media.

The party’s legal wizards will have a brainstorming session tomorrow (Wednesday) to make a final decision about whether or not to move the Supreme Court to seek disqualification of Premier Nawa z.
