Syrian refugee arrested after killing woman with machete in Germany

The asylum-seeking man had been involved in previous incidents causing injuries to other people

BERLIN: A 21-year-old Syrian refugee killed a woman with a machete and injured two other people on Sunday before being arrested in the southern German city of Reutlingen, a police spokesperson said.

The asylum-seeking Syrian man had been involved in previous incidents causing injuries to other people, he said.

The spokesperson had no immediate information on when the man arrived in Germany, or when the previous incidents took place.

The assailant was apparently acting alone, the police official said. "There is no danger to anyone else at this time," he told Reuters.

Raj - USA | 8 years ago | Reply Bush and Blair made huge mistake. They should have finished off Pakistan in 2001/2002. Had they done so, Afghanistan would have been peaceful, Taliban and Al Quaida would have been finished and ISIS would not have been born. We would not be reading Tribune.com.pk also as "pk" extension would not have come into existence. I hope Trump takes the correct decision next year.
