SRK, Gauri Shinde throw party for Ali Zafar
Actor-singer entertains attendees with his musical talents
KARACHI:
Actor-singer Ali Zafar who will next be seen in Bollywood film-maker Gauri Shinde’s project Dear Zindagi, attended a party hosted by her and superstar Shah Rukh Khan on Thursday night, stated a press release.
Zafar was the designated entertainer of the night, belting out some of his hit songs at the event.
“This was the first time we all met together and we had a lot of fun catching up,” Zafar told The Express Tribune. Cast members Alia Bhatt, Kunal Kapoor, Angad Bedi, Ira Dubey, music director Amit Trivedi and lyricist Kausar Munir were also in attendance. Zafar plays a musician who is Bhatt’s love interest in Dear Zindagi.
The dinner was held at the Khar resto-bar in Mumbai, the place where a few dramatic sequences of the film have been shot as well. Bhatt especially flew in from Amritsar, where she was filming an Independence Day project, looking pretty in a flowing pink dress.
Khan sauntered in post-midnight and had everyone in splits with his witty remarks. The party wrapped up around 1:30am with the attendees planning their next bash, which is expected to happen soon.
