Borussia Dortmund announced on Friday that they have signed German winger Andre Schurrle from VfL Wolfsburg.

The current Bundesliga runners-up have penned a five-year deal with the former Chelsea player, just a day after resigning Mario Gotze from rivals Bayern Munich.

According to reports, Dortmund will pay around €30 million for the 2014 World Cup winner, who had three years left on his deal at the Volkswagen Arena.

During his 18-month stint with Wolfsburg, Schurrle made 62 appearances for the club and scored a total of 13 goals, setting up a further 10. However, his performance could not help Wolfsburg qualify for Europe, as they finished eighth in the Bundesliga.
