The trailer of Momal Sheikh's debut Bollywood film Happy Bhaag Jayegi has been unveiled.

From the makers of Tanu Weds Manu, the upcoming movie looks seems to be a fun-filled entertainer.

The cross-border love story stars Diana Penty (Happy) and Abhay Deol (Bilal Ahmed) in lead roles. The tale of the 'great wedding escape' begins when Happy leaves Bagga, played by Jimmy Shergill, alone at the altar to runaway with the love of her life Guddu, played by Ali Fazal.

But things take a new turn when Happy accidentally jumps on the wrong truck that lands her in Lahore, Pakistan.

She ends up in Bilal's house and they spark curiosity among his fiance, played by our very own Momal.

Happy apparently plays a happy-go-lucky girl and ends up inspiring Bilal, who then decides to help her out.

The journey of tracing down Bagga begins and he finally makes his way to Pakistan in order to find his runaway bride.

He manages to locate her and bring her back, but Happy being Happy runs away once again.

The cast along with director, Mudassar Aziz and producers, Anand L. Rai and Krishika Lulla launched the trailer at The Kapil Sharma Show yesterday.
