Naila, 16, and Muhammad Imran, 18, were arrested by a police team headed by SHO Malik Muhammad Yar and Homicide Investigation Unit Sub-Inspector Zaheeruddin Babar during a raid in Chiniot, native district of Imran, the police said on Tuesday.
Police traced hideout of the alleged killers through his mobile phone data, sources said.
Earlier police had also detained father, mother and two uncles of Imran.
The deceased were identified as Sher Afzal, 45, wife Asiya, 35, daughter Shamsa, 19 and Asiya’s niece Ezza Noor, 12.
The four people were murdered on July 4th with bullet marks on their heads in Dhoke Paharian on Adiala Road.
Saddar Bairuni police had registered a murder case on application of brother of Sher Afzal, accusing Muhammad Imran and his unidentified accomplices for kidnapping Naila and killing the four people.
Police may produce the accused before court today (on Wednesday) to obtain their physical remand for further investigation, sources said.
