This was stated in a handout issued on Tuesday. Khattak was addressing a 50-members delegation at CM House on the same day.
He also vowed to end corruption at all costs. “Both influential people and the common man shall be treated equally before the law,” the handout cited the CM as saying.
The delegation was led by Karak district nazim Dr Umar Daraz Khan. On the other hand, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl’s (JUI-F) Jan Alam also attended the occasion. The JUI-F leader announced his decision to join PTI. The CM welcomed his decision and said transparency will be ensured.
While talking to the media, he said the oil refinery shall be established at a feasible and suitable place in Karak. He added the construction of a road connecting Jhand to Kohat will also be included in the federal budget for CPEC.
“The PTI-led provincial government has strengthened public sector institutions and also made them responsive to the public,” the document quoted the CM as saying. “Although their government had to face a lot of challenges, they still managed to bring reforms in different sectors including health, education and the police.
“The tehsil level management must be empowered to ensure the distribution of resources at the grass-root level,” the handout quoted Khattak as saying.
He said the electorate had voted for PTI to make public officials accountable. Khattak vowed to make every effort to give effect to this goal.
