“Overseas Pakistanis should ask rulers back home why the money they send to Pakistan ends up in London and Swiss accounts,” Pakistan Awami Tehreek chief Tahirul Qadri said on Saturday. According to a message received here, the PAT chief was addressing the Pakistani community, including some party workers, in Midland, United Kingdom. He said that Pakistan needed an honest leadership. He said that the government had been unable to end electrcity load-shedding and poverty. He accused the goverment of failing to honour the commitment made to people during the 2013 election campaign. The PAT chief said that the government’s claim about breaking the begging bowl had been exposed. Qadri said that overseas Pakistanis must play their role against Pakistan’s corrupt rulers.
