PARIS/ LISBON: Barcelona star Neymar was as expected named in the Brazil squad for the Olympics football tournament on Thursday as well Paris Saint Germain defender Marquinhos.
However, Portugal’s 18-man squad for the games in Rio does not include any of the players who featured in the successful Euro 2016 campaign.
While Brazil also selected Neymar’s club mate Rafinha, Lazio midfielder Felipe Anderson and rising star Gabriel Barbosa, Andre Martins is the only player in Portugal’s squad with senior international experience.
