Like millions of people around the world, are you also going crazy over Pokemon Go? Well, there’s something even bigger coming out for old-school Nintendo fans, and it is going to take you back to the 80’s.
Software giant Nintendo announced on Thursday it was bringing back the Nintendo Entertainment System: NES Classic Edition.
It is slated to go on sale from November 11 this year for $59.99.

The new classic edition will come with 30 pre-installed games, including classics such as Super Mario Bros 1, 2 and 3, Donkey Kong, Bubble Bobble, The Legend of Zelda and more.

“The NES is coming back to stores! Pick up the new mini NES Classic Edition on 11/11 w/ 30 included games!,” Nintendo America tweeted.
The new console, which is described as a “mini replica”, seems to be launching only in the US for now. It is also compatible with our new-age TV sets as NES classic edition plugs-in with HDMI cable.
In a statement, the Nintendo of America President and COO Reggie Fils-Aime said the company “wanted to give fans of all ages the opportunity to revisit Nintendo’s original system and rediscover why they fell in love with Nintendo in the first place.”
“The Nintendo Entertainment System: NES Classic Edition is ideal for anyone who remembers playing the NES, or who wants to pass on those nostalgic memories to the next generation of gamers,” he added.
The announcement comes following the huge success of Pokemon Go, the first mobile game released by the company.
