Police allegedly thrashed on Wednesday a grandson of late Abdul Sattar Edhi in North Nazimabad area of Karachi.
Ahmed Edhi, the grandchild of the legendary philanthropist, said he was taken to a police station where personnel beat him up, according to Express News.

Ahmed claimed a police officer also put a gun on his head and kept abusing him.
Taking prompt action, DIG West suspended three police officials involved in the incident.
Edhi who passed away last week in Karachi, was diagnosed with kidney failure in 2013 but had been unable to get a transplant due to frail health. He was receiving treatment at the Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation (SIUT).
