PESHAWAR:
Adviser to Prime Minister Amir Muqam paid a surprise visit to Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) regional headquarters in the province on Wednesday. Muqam urged SNGPL officials to resolve the issue of low gas pressure before the upcoming winter and to complete ongoing projects on an emergency basis. While talking to the media, Muqam said losses have been reduced from 20% to 14% and provision of connections will increase from 30,000 to 50,000 in 2017. He added the federal government has sanctioned Rs2.5 billion to increase gas capacity for Malakand Division.
