Remembering services: President, PM condole Agha Nasir’s death

Nawaz labels him as a real asset for the nation

ISLAMABAD:  

President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif expressed condolence on the death of Agha Nasir. He was a renowned broadcaster and former managing director of PTV and director general Radio Pakistan. Both the leaders in their separate messages prayed for the departed soul and expressed sympathy with the bereaved family.

The President said that Nasir’s services for the promotion of modern media were tremendous and for this he will be remembered.

The prime minister said that his services for arts and culture will not be forgotten. Nawaz labelled him as a real asset for the nation.

Information minister Pervaiz Rashid said that the nation has suffered loss of a creative mind. Expressing his grief he said that Nasir was a talented person and provided unmatched services at the time of establishment of PTV.
