Adviser to Sindh chief minister on information and archives, Maula Bux Chandio, visited on Monday the office of late Abdul Sattar Edhi in Mithadar to condole with Faisal Edhi on the demise of his father. Chandio remained with Faisal for some time and extended his sympathy to Edhi’s family. “The Pakistan Peoples Party government will continue to support the Edhi Foundation for social and humanitarian service,” Chandio assured Faisal. Edhi was a legendary social leader and a great philanthropist of Pakistan, said Chandio, adding that Edhi was the son of Sindh and we are thankful for his services. He also suggested incorporating Edhi’s social services in the local textbooks.
