Nike's new ad featuring a fierce Deepika is trending for all the right reasons

Nike just released a killer advertisement featuring Deepika Padukone, paying a glorious tribute to sportswomen.



And it's all the motivation you need on a Monday.

The three-minute long advert shows the level of strength, endurance and persistence these women have.

Deepika shared the video on Twitter saying, "When I was growing up my father said to me, 'To be the best, always remember the three Ds - Discipline, Dedication and Determination. Follow your heart. Do what you are passionate about'."

She also explained how sport has taught her how to handle failure, success and how it has kept her grounded.

"Two years ago, I struggled with depression. I was sinking. I almost gave up. But it was the athlete in me that gave me the strength to fight and never ever give up!"
