Mawra Hocane breaks silence on rumours of dating Ranbir Kapoor

According to latest reports both of them spent some time together in Berlin earlier this month

Mawra Hocane's love for Ranbir Kapoor is no secret. The Pakistani actor -- who made her Bollywood debut with Sanam Teri Kasam -- has not just met Ranbir's mommy dearest Neetu Kapoor but also got a big shout out from the man himself.

And so, it's not surprising that the two have managed to spark dating rumours.

Adding fuel to the the fire is a latest report stating that Mawra and Ranbir spent some time together in Berlin earlier this month. Mawra was there for a fashion show, while Ranbir had a meeting with director Ayan Mukerji to discuss their upcoming film, according to Hindustan Times.

However, putting all the link-up rumours to rest, Mawra told Hindustan Times, “There is nothing for me to say about this as nothing I say will be enough to put these rumours to rest. People who are close to me know the truth so I don’t need to clear the air."

Mawra Hocane goes house hunting in Mumbai

Meanwhile, despite making waves on Pakistani television, Mawra is not open to the idea of working in Indian TV shows.

“I feel that dramas dominate in Pakistan and films dominate in India, which is why I want to be part of films here [in India]. It’s not like I don’t find Indian TV shows interesting, I have grown up watching some of them. But I am not open to working in one of them as of now," she said.

“The shows are very different from dramas in Pakistan and there is nothing wrong in that. I don’t think we need to change them as there are so many people who enjoy this format as well. If we try to fix the number of episodes in Indian TV shows, like we have in Pakistani dramas, they might lose their charm,” she added.

Mawra to star opposite Varun Dhawan?

Mawra also recently went house-hunting in Mumbai and has finally found a new home. “I have been so fortunate to be able to find a nice place. I am in Berlin at the moment, but once I am back, I will be doing up the house,” she said.
