Pakistan has condemned killings of Kashmiri leader Burhan Wani and other innocent citizens in the Indian-held territory, terming the actions of Indian forces deplorable.

“Such acts are a violation of fundamental human rights of Kashmiris and cannot deter the people of Jammu and Kashmir from their demand for the realisation of the right to self-determination,” read a statement issued by the Foreign Office.

Burhan Wani, a 22-year-old commander of the region’s largest rebel group, Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) was killed in a brief gunfight with Indian forces on July 8.

Pakistan also raised questions over the detention of Kashmiri leadership, calling upon the Indian government to fulfill human rights obligation and commitments under the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) Resolutions.

The Foreign Office reiterated the Kashmir issue could only be resolved though a fair and impartial plebiscite under UN auspices.

The death toll from unrest in Indian-administered Kashmir climbed to 15 on Sunday, officials said, despite authorities imposing a harsher curfew on the restive territory in a bid to prevent new demonstrations.

PM expresses shock

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif also expressed shock over the killings.

“It is deplorable that excessive and unlawful force was used against the civilians who were protesting against the killing of Burhan Wani,” he said in a statement.

LOL. Pakistan is making a mockery of itself. Look at the picture. The guy is holding a gun and not a protest placard. World has lost it appetite for armed terrorist. This also vindicates Indian position that Pakistan is terrorist supporter and supports “good” terrorist. This was a blunder Pakistan FO. You guys would never learn.Recommend

Is it only me or others also???????

Of late, whenever Pakistan’s Foreign Office reads out statements condemning India or Bangladesh eliminating pro-Pakistan islamic terrorists, it reminds me of the videos I have seen where hostages taken by Taliban, Al Quaida, ISIS, etc., would be reading out statements, condemning USA and Israel before they are beheaded by the terrorists.

In fact these terrorist who are demanding separation of Kashmir from India, whenever they raise Pakistan’s flag also raise ISIS flag along with Pakistan’s flag, and shout simultaneously pro-Pakistan and pro-ISIS slogans, jumping up and down like monkeys, thereby equating Pakistan to islamic terror group ISIS. It makes Pakistan happy. Recommend

Kashmir is not an internal matter of India. It’s a recognised international dispute.
And Kashmiris are waging a fight to defend their basic human rights of self determination and freedom.
Just like every nation in the past has done so, Kashmiris too are waging a diplomatic, political, democratic as well as military fight for their freedom.
And just btw everyone knows how Bangladesh’s current government is just a puppet of the Indian state. So please quote a relevant example guys.
Pakistan has been a victim of cross border terrorism funded by India and trained in Afghanistan.
All problems in our region comes from India’s hegemonic ambitions to dominate this region.Recommend
